​In the midst of new development within Gera’s city-centre, it is important to acknowledge the city’s architectural diversity and what it reveals about the city’s history. Two tent-like structures printed with patterns taken from building facades around Gera create a habitable refuge for its citizens, while also referencing the city’s varied architectural styles. The structures act as an invitation to consider the connection between different sections of the city and how Gera’s development may attempt to engage the city as a whole.
